Learn to paint this beautiful Cottage Garden cake design by joining Louise on a live cake painting demonstration on the 24th September 2024.

Uk time 6pm-8:30pm ( Finish time is estmated at 8;30, althoughit may finish slighty before or after)

This design was inpsired by a painting by an  artist Henry sutton Plamer. I fell in love with the painting so I decided to recreate it in my own style. By learning this design it will help you to explore the possibilites of creating  beautiful garden cake designs. Not only will you learn how to paint this picturesque cottage, the skills that you will learn can be applied to many other landscape designs. I aim to build your confidence in cake painting and look forward to seeing your work.

I will demonstrate how to use cocoa butter and edible dusts to create a paint that can be used on fondant, ganache, chocolate and buttercream.

I will demonstrate on to a cake board covered in fondant icing.

You will learn how to:

Mix the paint, how to keep your brush clean, and general practice tips.

How to create different consistancies for desired effects.

How to blend 

How to build up a design to create depth.

How to highlight and shade.

This is a live demonstration that will be taught in English only. No subtitles will be on the video or recording, you can choose to add subititles from your own zoom account.

The Demonstration will be recorded and then sent to all participants within three days after the live Demo. The video will be yours to keep. So dont worry if you cant make the live demo, you can watch on catch up!

The Zoom app is required on your device to watch the demonstration so please do make sure that you have it installed beforehand.

A list of all materails used in the demo will be sent to you after the live event.
